By William Ballard
I am really excited to be sharing this post with you. I hope that you enjoy it as much as I did putting it together.
First thing that I want to get across to you is -- no one that is successful has ever made it to success alone. There is no such thing as a self-made -- anything! A self-made millionaire, a self-made athlete, a self-made writer or author, self-made artist, and we can go on and on.
Whatever it is that you are passionate about, and whatever it is that brings you joy, no one has ever reached success in these areas alone. Just as the image above states: "Successful people never reach their goals alone."
If there is ONE lesson about success that I have learned over the years it is this: You must first clearly determine or define what it is that you want to do in specific detail, then you must find others that are already doing what you are dreaming of doing and surround yourself with those kinds of people as often as possible. The saying is true: "You become who you hang with".
The Bible has told us to always give honor to whom honor is due. With that said, I want to introduce fiver mentors of mine that have shaped the course, development, and trajectory of my writing business and ministry. There are many more but I can't list them all.
Spiritual Development - Rev. Anthony Mangun
Rev. Anthony Mangun is the Senior Pastor of one of the most powerful and soul-winning minded churches I have ever come in contact with -- The Pentecostals of Alexandria (POA).
Before anything is done in business or ministry, you must first make sure that your heart and soul is in right alignment with God Almighty. If your business is struggling, perhaps it is time to re-evaluate where you and your business stands with the things of God.
Your business or ministry will not grow without passion and your passion must be for the purpose and will of God.
I always start my day with the Lord. In prayer, in study of His Word, and often times with a gut-wrenching, inspiring, and soul moving message from Rev. Anthony Mangun.
Now, there are more preachers that I enjoy listening to other than Rev. Mangun, but if I was to share them all here this post would never end.
I hope this video inspires you and gets you fired up to take your business and ministry to the next level.
Where is your passion?
He who does the will and purpose of God will abide forever!
Personal and Mental Development -- Bob Proctor
Your imagination is your greatest invisible power, and it is the home of which faith lives. - William Ballard
Bob Proctor is a successful author, speaker, and personal development coach. He has been studying how the mind works for the past 57 years -- Proctor Gallagher Institute
Once you know you got your soul right with the Lord the next thing that you must work on is your mental development. You need to get the right attitude, the right mindset, and turn the key to the ignition of your imagination.
You may "think" that everyone thinks but the reality is not everyone does. Mental activity should never be mistaken for thinking. You should never do things just to do them, what you think and what you do should be driven by your purpose.
There is a depthness to your potential. But there is no bottom or top, no limit to the greatest that dwells inside you. You are a spiritual being engineered and crafted by the hands of God and placed into a physical body, a creative idea designed for unbelievable potential. And the DNA of your spirit is perfection, it is flawlessly made. God makes no mistakes. These are truths that you must learn and develop your mind to believe in.
In this video, Bob sits down to discuss The Power of Imagination.
Here are a few lessons that I've learned form Bob Proctor:
Now, where Bob Proctor falls short, however, is where Grant Cardone picks up....
