So here’s your first traffic generation tip: Discover how to use Twitter to drive traffic back to your site and then turn that traffic into faithful readers and customers. Here’s the plan: Step 1. Download TweetAdder Again, I was introduced to this incredible program from Ana Hoffman at her "Promote Your Business" page. Thank you Ana for such a powerful tool! Tweet Adder was the very first traffic generation strategy Ana put in place when she started Traffic Generation Cafe, and it worked so well that Twitter remains her main referral traffic source to this day. Download your TweetAdder here Side note: Ana makes the point very clear, "Make sure to get 5-profile license at the very least; otherwise, it’s not worth the trouble." Step 2. Start Your Own "Promote Your Business" Page or Post Set up a landing page or write a blog post that works best for YOUR niche – it might be something similar to what I did here or something entirely different. Be creative! Step 3. Tweet Tweet Tweet Come up with several Twitter Tweets to automatically send out to your new Twitter followers. Use your Tweet Adder for this as well. Figure out which Tweets works best, then start using those for all your social media accounts. Step 4. Relationship Nurturing Requires Engagement Remember, we are doing all this to convert casual visitors into a long-term relationships. Has Ana Hoffman stats, "It’s not about bringing them to your website/blog to make a quick buck with a few AdSense clicks." With that in mind, once you bring your new Twitter followers back to your site, engage and interact with them. Encourage them to read more. Impress them with your great content. Respond to their comments - often! There’s a reason why most people who come to my website and blog from Twitter stick around… for good. Step 5. Act Your Way Into Feeling! Do you know what the biggest curse of all business failures is? Failure to act. At some point you need to stop “learning” and start doing. How do you know when the time to stop learning finally arrives? You'll know when you can finish the sentences of the main points the gurus you follow give. It’s time to put this traffic generation method to good use on your own site, don’t you think? Download your TweetAdder here The following is an important update about Tweeter Adder 4.0 Update from Ana Hoffman: IMPORTANT: Tweet Adder 4.0 Update "Twitter has recently restricted use of its API significantly, causing several Twitter tools to follow/unfollow users to shut down.
