Content Marketing Specialist and Content Creator

William Ballard Enterprise, LLC  is looking for a handful of dynamic Content Marketing Specialists and Content Creators to be part of our Content Creation Department. In this role, the Content Marketing Specialist and Creator will be responsible for working together with the Content Creation Team he or she as been assigned to alongside our Founder and CEO, William Ballard (Content Marketing Specialist Certified ) in a collaborative mastermind group role to help achieve business's goals and objectives. 

​You will be writing content for our five blogs and contributing to digital e-books that will be written for lead generation and lead magnets, as well as writing sales pages. All correspondence among Content Creation Team Members will be done through calls and email communications as well as in-person (if Content Creation Team Member is local).

​Strong communication skills are needed for both verbal and email correspondence. Must be a highly motivated, a goal orientated individual, and eager to write content that will generate new leads and prospects, and create new members and client relationships. 


Within this department there will be three major teams: 
  1. Top of The Funnel Content Creators 
  2. Middle of The Funnel Content Creators
  3. Bottom of The Funnel Content Creators

  •  You will plan and complete set content creation projects given by Team Leads as well as from our Founder and CEO William Ballard by meeting deadlines. 
  •  Your team lead will manage your teams editorial calendar, but you will be required to manage your personal content creation calendar to ensure efficient scheduling.

Requirements: Knowledge and Skills

The Content Marketing Specialist position requires a number of skills including:
  • Must have at least 3 years experience as a Content Marketing Specialist
  • In-depth computer skills required (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Screen Image Capturing, Etc.). 
  • Creative Writing skills -- Must know how to craft a sentence or paragraph in such a way that is easy to understand but doesn't look like a child wrote it (Remember this quote: "When something is easy to read, much effort went into the writing." 
  • Must know how to write for the Internet (Blogs, Website Pages, Landing Pages,  Digital E-books, Etc.).
  • Content Marketing – Demonstrate experience with successful management and execution of a content marketing strategies.
  • Search Engine Optimization (SEO) – Demonstrate the ability to drive traffic to our website and blogs from search engines.
  • Editing – Be able to provide editorial skills including strong language skills and the ability to adjust content to remain consistent with brand, style and tone.
  • Blogging – Be able to successfully manage our business blogs in order to further our organizational goals.
  • Weebly– Must be able to create content within and troubleshoot issues with the Weebly platform.
  • Copywriting – Must have an understanding of how to create and present content that persuades.
  • Lead Generation – Must be able to demonstrate experience with using digital and/or print content to generate leads and sales.
  • Analytics – Must have an excellent command of analytics platforms, such as Google Analytics or Omniture, to adjust marketing strategy and tactics.

Note: As you can see above, when it comes to writing and content creation, organization and writing competency skills are a must. 

Primary Areas of Responsibility 

  • Editorial Calendar:  Each team lead will be required to manage the teams editorial calendar, but each content creator must be able to organize a personal editorial  calendar of their own around a 90-day strategic plan and weekly objectives, and must able to set and confirm all writing appointments and assignments. 
  • Team Communication: Must be able to communicate effectively with team members and team leader at all times. This must be handled quickly and professionally to ensure we are meeting all of our deadlines in a spirit of excellence. 
  • Top of The Funnel Content Team: Content Marketing Specialist and Creators that are responsible for the Top of The Funnel content are required to achieve the following goals: 1) Increase Company and Offer Awareness, 2) Grow Re-targeting List, 3) Increase Engagement, and 4) Grow Website Traffic. 
  • Middle of The Funnel Content Team: Content Marketing Specialist and Creators that are responsible for the Middle of The Funnel content are required to achieve the following goals: 1) Email List Growth/Lead Growth, 2) Grow Re-targeting List, and 3) Initial Customer Acquisition.  
  • Bottom of the Funnel Content Team: Content Marketing Specialist and Creators that are responsible for the Bottom of The Funnel content are required to achieve the following goals: 1) Lead Customer/Client Nurture, 2) Grow Re-targeting List, 3) Maximize Immediate Customer Value, 4) Increase Retention, and 5) Increase Buyer Frequency.  

Qualifications 

  • Must have at least 3 years experience as a Content Marketing Specialist
  • Bachelor's Degree in Creative Writing, English Lit, Marketing, Journalism, Communications, Public Relations, and/or Digital Content Creation (A plus, but not required)
  • Past entrepreneurial and content marketing experience a plus (not necessary)
  • 3+ years experience in digital content strategy and tactics including content creation, editing, analytics, social media marketing and search engine optimization
  • 3+ years experience in project management.

Position Summary

The Content Marketing Specialist will be responsible for the coordination of all digital and print content.
​
The right candidate will have experience in cross channel content marketing and content optimization including text, audio, video and image content, and search marketing.

The Content Marketing Specialist is a creative marketing mind with the ability to organize projects, meet deadlines and work together as a strong team member. The ability to interpret analytics and troubleshoot web related technical issues is a plus. This position requires experience in using digital and print content to support strategic organizational objectives.

​The ideal candidate for this position will be a licensed or affiliated lay-minister of an Apostolic Church, have technical experience with websites and copywriting, strong interpersonal skills, and a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. This is a full-time salaried position with the principal responsibility of organizing and managing a busy content creation schedule.
