If you do, thank you for your support! Change Your Attitude, Change Your World It really is true! Your attitude will always be the difference maker in how you look at the world. More often than it should be, we tend to focus the majority, if not all, of our attention on the things that we have no control over. We can’t change people, and we can’t change time or seasons. We can’t change the economy or change the characters of those in government power. The only thing that we, alone, can control, manage, or really have any say in, is in our own personal development. In our own minds (attitudes) and outlooks. Our world begins to change when we begin to accept this truth and begin to focus our complete attention on our own personal, spiritual, and mental development. Too many times, we try to fix the outward “stuff” first, but that is backwards healing when it comes to the process of restoring our positive outlook. We need to stop trying to change others or “fix” things that are out of our control. This problem is one of the major causes of stress in our society today! We must refocus all of our energy and efforts to the developing and restoration of our own personal perspective first. There are many stories that have highlighted the power of a positive attitude especially in the medical arena where one patient will come through a major surgery where others won’t and the only difference is the patient’s outlook. This intangible power or force called a Positive Attitude can’t go unrecognized! Instead of wasting all our efforts and energy on things we can’t change, we should transfer our energy to the one thing that can be managed and that is our own attitude. I encourage picking up a copy of John Maxwell’s book, The Difference Maker and take the time to really absorb the principles that he shares in helping the reader develop a more positive attitude. I know for certain that if you really grab a hold of the principles that John talks about in his book, your outlook will completely change and you will be well on your way to developing a positive attitude that will change your world. What can make the difference in your life? How can two people with the same skills and abilities, in the same situation, end up with two totally different results? Leadership expert John C. Maxwell says the difference maker is attitude. For those who have ever wondered what may be separating them from achieving the kind of personal and professional success they’ve always dreamed of, Dr. Maxwell has some words of insight: “Your attitude colors every aspect of your life. It is like the mind’s paintbrush.” In The Difference Maker, Maxwell shatters common myths about attitude—what it can do for you and what it can’t. Showing you how to overcome the five biggest attitude obstacles, Dr. Maxwell teaches the skills you need to make attitude your biggest asset. Most importantly, you’ll learn not only how to develop an attitude that will have a tremendous impact on your career, family, and daily living, but also how to maintain that attitude for the rest of your life.
