Four Tables – Small Group Kit (By Rev. Ken Gurley)
Rev. Ken Gurley’s new ministry resource, For Tables, is extremely powerful. Some who are new to church or have recently experienced the New Birth – went from Lost to Found, may be feeling “lost” in where they’re place is in the Kingdom of God.
If this is where you find yourself at the current moment, I want you to know that you are not alone! It wasn’t too long ago that I was right where you are at right now. And when I was there I didn’t have the Four Tables resource to help shine light on the path that God had called me to – but you do now!
Resource Price: $34.99
Who Is This Resource For?
Have you ever wondered: What is my purpose in life? What I am doing here? What does God want me to do? How do I know if I’ve been called? What does a calling even sound like, or feel like?
If you can say, “Yes, I have thought at least one of these thoughts before”, then this small group resource is for you. This resource will help shine some light on these areas of your life and help answer some of these questions for you.
Before we go any further in this review I just want to make one thing clear right of the bat. God does have a plan for you. He did not create you for nothing. You were designed for a purpose, and that is what this resource will help you discover.
What Will This Product Help You Do?
Using a metaphor of the tables Ezekiel saw in his vision of a new temple, Rev. Ken Gurley explains the fourfold plan for each believer’s life. What is that fourfold plan? It is to learn to love, begin to grow, act out love in service, and finally, go and achieve what God has assigned you to do in His Kingdom. Small group discussions challenge participants to apply these foundational principles to their lives resulting in deeper personal consecration and a renewed sense of purpose.
Rev. Ken Gurley believes and writes, “If enough people in enough places repurpose themselves according to God’s plan for their lives, it is my firm expectation that a harvest of great proportions will be unleashed.” He goes on to say, “If a particular class, segment of the church, or even an entire assembly works its way through this material, I strongly suspect the church will see a great difference in its meaningfulness and relevance to the community in which it ministers” (excerpt from the Facilitator’s Guide).
Inside this powerful resource you will discover the following (video sessions include):
The Best Part
The BEST part of this small group resource would have to be the video sessions. Rev. Ken Gurley is a remarkable teacher and communicator. The way he uses everyday items to illustrate his points and the principles that are found in this resource are easy to grasp and understand. And just like Solomon said, “In all thy getting, get understanding.” That is exactly what Rev. Gurley helps you do in each session.
You see, there is a universal law called the Law of Polar Opposites. In short, it means that for every negative there is a positive, or vice versa. For example, the Polar Opposite of Faith is Fear. The Polar Opposite of Intelligence or Knowledge is Ignorance. The Bible said, “Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the Word of God.” The more we hear, read, and study the Word of God – get understanding, the more we develop the unstoppable force of Faith that dwells within us.
Let me ask you this: If Faith is built up by gathering knowledge and understanding from the Word of God, then how does Fear become built up? Well, the answer to that question is through ignorance. In other words, Faith comes out of the knowledge and understanding we get from the Word of God. On the other hand, Fear comes out of our ignorance of the Word of God.
The Church is blessed to have a remarkable teacher and communicator. Rev. Ken Gurley, who really knows how to make the Word of God plain. We must NEVER become lazy in our devotions and study.
What Would Make It Even Better?
Now, as for negatives…
To be honest with you, I am not sure there is anything I could say that would make this resource better. Rev. Gurley has presented a revelation and metaphor that anyone can understand and grasp. After absorbing all that this resource has, there is no reason you or any other person would not be able to know their purpose and calling within the Body of Christ.
How It Changed My Life
To be honest with you, the session on A Repurposed Life, was the session that really spoke and ministered to me the most. The illustrations that Rev. Gurley used in this session really opened my eyes and gave me a new perspective towards my own calling and purpose within the Body of Christ.
I’ll be transparent with you, for a few years, prior to getting my copy of Four Tables, I was in a place in my life and ministry where I was uncertain of what to do next. I was uncertain of whether or not I was truly doing what God wanted me to do. After watching this one session, my eyes were open, and literally my life and perspective on my calling and ministry changed. My life, my ministry, my business, and my passion has been repurposed and I can only give the credit to God and to this powerful resource.
Look, if you are wondering what your purpose is in life, and if you are wondering what a calling even sounds or feels like… if you are wondering what you are meant to do in the Kingdom of God… or if you are just feeling lost in the Kingdom, wondering around uncertain of what the King (Jesus) wants you to do for Him… then I highly recommend you get your hands on a copy of this resource.
As I mentioned earlier, God does have a plan for you. You were not created to wonder around aimlessly in the Kingdom. God has given you a unique mission that is specifically designed for you, and no one else. And it something that only you can accomplish. God has already given you everything you need to be successful in what He wants you to do for Him.
Now Over to You...
