Have You Felt The Call of God on Your Life to The Writing Ministry?
I don’t know about you, but all of my life I’ve felt a certain love and passion for the written word. I’ve always been in awe of the spiritual experience that takes place through the transference of thought to the written word, and eventually, to the heart and mind of the reader. And if that isn’t enough, the truth is: It was through the writing ministry that you and I came to know the Lord.
You see, before there was writing, God chose speaking as the form of communication He wanted to use in order to nurture a relationship with His creation. But being the Omniscient (All-Knowing) God that He is, He knew that there would come a time when His creation would no longer have an open ear to His voice. It wasn’t that He stopped talking, it was that we stopped listening.
Because of His longing to continue having a relationship with His creation (without communication there is no relationship), He put in place a new way to communicate with us, which is/was through the written word. Therefore, Moses became the first writing minster, and the first to preserve the words of the Lord so that you and I can be drawn back to our Creator. That’s what the writing ministry is really all about!
There is NO Better Way to Answer This High Calling of God
Than to Develop Your Professional and Ministerial Etiquette
If you were like me when I first heard the call of God on my life to ministry, you are probably at a point where you are excited and enthusiastic, but also scared and clueless as to where to start. Thankfully, I had an amazing Pastor that had enough self-awareness to know where his strengths were, and how to capitalize on them. For instance, one of his strengths was that he was a preacher that molded preachers and ministers.
In other words, I've never met a pastor that would mentor, train, encourage, defend, rebuke, and support up-and-coming ministers like my pastor. Understand, I’m not trying to be negative here -- or talk down about other pastors -- I am simply trying to emphasize how important the relationship between a new minister and his pastor really is.
With that said, what you are about to read is the accumulation of years of wisdom and insight that I have received from the pastor that molded me to what I am today. I wouldn’t be where I am in the ministry if it wasn’t for him.

Most resources like these are mainly designed with those in public ministries in mind – such as preachers, teachers, or even music ministers. However, I wanted to create something that was geared to those called to the writing ministry above all else.
You see, as I mentioned earlier, the writing ministry is something that occupies a very important room deep in my heart, and if you really think about it, there would be no public ministry (preaching, teaching, or music) if it wasn’t for the writing ministry.
In fact, every sermon or bible study teaching first starts off as written notes, and every song must have a song writer.
With that said, by no means am I trying to downplay the importance of public ministry, but rather, I’m simply trying to acknowledge that a writing minister should never feel as if he/she is part of an inferior ministry. Indeed, an Apostolic Christian Writer is an integral part of God’s Kingdom.
To that end, if you have indeed felt the call of God on your life to the writing ministry, Etiquette: For Apostolic Christian Writers is the best place to start. Get your copy by clicking on the button below:
