What You Can Expect

Here’s what you can expect from me: 
  1. Prompt, professional replies to your phone calls and email messages.
  2. A personal phone consultation prior to your event, so I can better understand how I can best serve you and your audience.
  3. An announcement about your event on my blog and social media outlets. (This assumes that your event is open to the public and you want additional visibility for it.)
  4. A professionally prepared, dynamically delivered presentation focused on achieving the outcomes you want with your audience.
  5. A custom resource page, exclusively created for your attendees. It will include the slides I used in the presentation, along with URLs to books, articles, and other resources I believe will be helpful.

A Little Bit About Me

I have been speaking publicly for more than 10 years. I have spent most of my career in the sales and marketing industry as well as in the ministry. I have recently taken everything I have learned over the years about sales and marketing and business, and started my own writing and self-publishing venture. 

I now devote my time to writing, teaching, mentoring, consulting, and speaking. In terms of my audience: 
  • My blogs are some of the most sought after informational resources for writing, publishing, sales and marketing, leadership, and  launching a writing ministry, with more than 3,000 visitors a month. Over 10,000 people subscribe to my daily updates.
  • I also have more than 1,000 followers on Twitter and 5,000 "Fans" on Facebook.

I have written several books and booklets. My latest one, The True Writer's Life: Discovering the Author and Finisher of Our Faith (Friesen Press, 2014), is one of my top sellers.

I have devoted my life to the Work of God and helping others. I believe that my sole purpose in life is to share the Gospel with as many people as I can, and help as many aspiring writers to become successful authors (not to mention help small businesses and struggling entrepreneurs grow their ventures through effective direct response marketing -- copywriting). I currently live outside of Dallas, Texas. In my free time, I enjoy reading, writing, and getting as far away from the city as possible and just soaking in as much time as I can with the Lord.
